What can I say About Jerry Maguire. He has made ours dreams come true with the start of the refinance of our first home, to the purchase of our vacation home. His Level of Professionalism is Phenomonal

Ten years ago this month (June 2001) I met Jerry. My wife had just found out she was pregnant, after being married for 22 years, for the first time. Her mother’s gracious first words were, “You’re too old”. We decided we would become first time home buyers and purchase a 3 family house. Jerry had been referred to us from a friend. I now understand why. I had never known anyone like Jerry before. I pray I get to meet another one. Jerry was patient with us as we were scraping up several thousand dollars to show reserves. I had several credit union savings accounts with $5.47 in them. He would photocopy baggies separately with the quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies flattened out so you could count them. We even had a 1/10 ounce gold coin he informed us would need an appraisal. We couldn’t afford an appraisal on a coin. We just needed a house. I told him to copy it. It had a face value of $5. Put it in the total. After the large sum of money we had amassed was verified, he then told us we were approved, we could go spend the money. A week before the closing,  I was at the gas company getting three  hot water heater rentals to be purchased by the current owner when large jets started crashing into buildings in New York City, the Pentagon and a field
in Pennsylvania. The financial markets closed for several days, everything stopped. One call to Jerry and we still had our closing on time.

I had gotten a real estate license a few months later and started sending Jerry clients. Many of them he probably wished I hadn’t. I know I wished I hadn’t. His patience is incredible. I was an owner/ broker soon and would send him every client I could. I always described it like this. Every deal I was trying to put together always ended up in the toilet. Jerry would always pull it out of the toilet and save the deal. The knowledge level of his profession is phenomonal. He is brilliant. He is honest. He is ethical. I’ve seen him on the phone many times refusing to do something illegal. I’ve seen him tell someone to call someone else if he thought they had a special need that someone else could handle better for a particular reason.  I’ve seen him so many times pull up vast mental files and embarrass the competion. I’ve seen him explain to a real estate broker why it really is illegal to loan money to someone if it is in an escrow account.

They say you can’t get blood from a rock. Jerry is a rock in the mortgage industry. He is also a rock as a friend. Jerry is an A+A+A+ A+A+A+, not A+++++++. You can get blood from Jerry. Five years ago, my  4 year old daughter needed to have open heart surgery. She needed a blood donor for the operation. I wanted good blood. Clean blood. It needed to be A+. My daughter had A+. I asked a few people what there blood type was. Clean people. Three had A+. The donor would have to take several hours out of their schedule to go to Boston and donate. All three said yes. Jerry said yes.  This was 2005. Peak mortgage time. I told Jerry I had three yeses. We only needed one. I knew what several hours were worth to him. Jerry said yes. Along with a good friend from church and our pastor’s daughter, who had even gotten in a car accident that month to find out her blood type. All three refused to back out.  During the five-hour surgery, the heart-lung bypass machine “blew a hose”. This never happens. But it did. The surgeon explained it as being similar to a garden hose- well, anyway- to make a long story short- we needed three pints of blood that day, really fast, and Jennifer is now nine and a half – teen. Thank you, Jerry, for not worrying about your bottom line, and saving our bottoms, instead. I could never repay you. You’ll always be in our hearts. You are a rock in every way! You’ll get every client I could ever send you. You are the most competent person in the industry I have ever met. May God bless you, your family and your business! Any client you have will be
